The genesis for the creation of my designs is play. I love the feel of metal and I play around with shapes, textures, balance and proportion to create the shapes for the pieces.

I am kind of obsessive about balance and it drives me a little crazy. When I manipulate the components and am satisfied with the positioning of everything, only then will I complete the piece. So that’s how my collections start. Having created the first, all of the other pieces then flow from there.
